Mr. Roop Chand possesses a master s degree in Physics and has wide experience of Oil & Gas E & P Industry. After working more than 34 years in ONGC, he superannuated as General Manager (Geophysics). He has organization level expertise in planning of inputs and contract management.
He has extensive experience in seismic data API (Acquisition, Processing and Interpretation) for hydrocarbon exploration and development in different Indian and foreign basins and managed more than 25 such projects while in ONGC with full compliance of HSE norms. Post superannuation in 2009, he has handled six major seismic API projects for different companies like, INTERLINK (2), SELAN (2), IOCL (2). Apart from this, the small projects have been executed for GAIL and JINDAL OIL & GAS. He continues advising various Indian and international E & P companies for oil & gas exploration and development.

Mr. Roop Chand has undergone Landmark Interpretation Software training in Kuala Lampore and Upstream Petroleum Policy and Management training at NPD Norway, apart from numerous training related to oil & gas exploration and development.
He has to his credit many oil & gas discoveries in Assam and Cambay basin of India. He has also published more than 20 research papers in national and international journals.
